Definition of Tourism

The first definition of Tourism was given by Austrian economist ,Herman van scheduler in 1990.He described tourism as the total of operations mainly at economic nature directly related to the entry,stay and movement of foreigners inside and outside a certain,city or region. 
                 In 1993, two Swiss professors;Walter humanizer and Kurt  Kraft had defined tourism as follows.
Tourism is the sum of the phenomena and relation ship arising from the travel and stay of non resident, in so far as they do not lead to permanent resident and are not connected with any activities'
        In 1976, Tourism society of England defined Tourism as follows. Tourism is the temporary or short term movement of people to destinations outside the places where the normally live and work and there activities during their stay as these destination.'It includes the movement of any purpose as well as they visits or excursions.''            
                In 1993, united Nation statistical commission had defined tourism as''All the comprising activities with in the journey  out side the usual environment for not more then one consecutive year for leisure, business and for any other purpose.
